1. Overview

CarpFishing Guide helps users access carp fishing guidance, technical rig information, session checklists, lake information, saved preferences and optional Pro features.

This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed when using the app.

2. Data stored locally on the device

CarpFishing Guide may store some information locally on the user’s device to provide app functionality, including:

selected language
checklist items and checklist completion status
favorite lakes
local app preferences
local UI state

This data is stored on the device and is not sent to a proprietary UP101 backend.

3. Google Login and Firebase Authentication

The app may allow users to sign in with Google using Firebase Authentication.

When a user signs in, Firebase Authentication may provide and process account information such as:

Google account email
display name, if available
Firebase user ID
authentication status

This information is used to identify the signed-in user and connect app access to Pro features where applicable.

4. Google Play purchases

CarpFishing Guide offers optional Pro access through Google Play Billing.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. UP101 does not directly collect or store payment card details.

The app may check Google Play purchase status to determine whether the user has access to Pro features, such as:

monthly Pro subscription
lifetime Pro purchase

5. Pro features

If a user purchases Pro access, the app may unlock additional content and features, including:

complete technical bottom/rig cards
advanced checklist functionality
advanced lake guidance
Pro-only shop content
future premium features

6. No proprietary backend currently used

At the current stage, CarpFishing Guide does not use a proprietary UP101 backend to store user fishing data.

Local preferences remain on the device unless future features explicitly introduce cloud synchronization. If this changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

7. Third-party services

The app may use third-party services provided by Google, including:

Firebase Authentication
Google Sign-In
Google Play Billing

These services may process data according to Google’s own terms and privacy policies.

Users can request deletion of account-related data associated with CarpFishing Guide by contacting UP101.
